Thought for 29.08.2010 (Computers & Peripherals)
Slowly the printed word is being replaced by its digital equivalent the world over.
This is good news. Because it reduces the consumption of paper, which will ensure that forests can thrive again. Oxygen levels will rise. Carbon levels will come down. The planet will be on its way to recovery.
Here are a few tips to keep your computers and peripherals in good working condition.

8. Open your browser. Click on tools>internet options. Click on delete files and delete cookies buttons. This will remove unwanted internet files on your computer and speed up your browsing.
All the above commands if done on a regular basis will ensure that your computer remains stable and in good working condition.
Clean your computer and peripherals with soft cloth regularly. Always use a UPS so that you dont lose data in the event of a power outage.
Also make sure to save your work on a regular basis so that you can recover your work if there is a power outage.

Thought for the day (28.08.2010)
The best thing that one needs to do is sit quiet for 5 minutes while reflecting on what needs to be done.
- This will ensure that the top priorities are remembered.
- This will ensure that unwanted thoughts or an idle mind are kept at bay.
- This will ensure that the mind will give enough work to keep the body occupied.
- This will reduce stress.
- This will lower blood pressure
- This will reduce anxiety.
What happens most of the time is that we keep confusing priorities which will simply rob us of our valuable time and not giving desired results.
This is because we are not analysing what has to be done carefully before doing so.
Thoughts are of three kinds.
1. Thoughts of past failures which makes us guilty or feel inferior.
2. Thoughts of future events that may or may not occur which creates anxiety.
3. Thoughts about the present.
Out of the above three, the third is rarely present. Whereas the first two kinds of thoughts are the culprits. Our mind is always toggling these two kinds.
If you cannot understand what I am trying to convey, just try to classify your thoughts into three categories.
1. Thoughts of the past
2. Thoughts of the future
3. Thoughts about the present.
You will be surprised to see that 99% of your thoughts will fall under the first two categories.
So thoughts of the past are unnecessary because it is over and will not create any improvements in our lifestyles.
Thoughts the future are again unnecessary because we do not know what will happen the next second so why worry?
So try to keep your thoughts focussed on the present and then you will see changes starting to happen.
